Try to be a mexican style. Very nice decoration...

I ordered an asada quesadilla and the wait was less than ten minutes. The salsa wasn't as hot as I hoped for (though my taste buds are probably burned out) but the super quesadilla had everything packed inside it, I could eat it completely by hand. It was absolutely delicious. I would definitely be back to try other choices off the menu.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Extremely disappointing experience. I ordered the fajitas half shrimp half chicken, the meat was a little overcooked and both the beans and rice needed salt added to them in order to have any flavor. I never add salt to my food, but in this case I had to in order for them not to be bland. The chips and guac were the best part of the meal. The staff was also extremely rude, found out later in the night the owner was actually the most rude of them all. Super disappointing experience and we won't be back.

The staff is really friendly and the food is so good. I always have enough leftovers for a second meal when I eat here. The steak salad and the nachos are delicious!

This is by far the worst Mexican restaurant I've ever eaten at. Ordered the carnitas and they were an absolute joke. The meat wasn't even fried, simply boiled and devoid of any seasoning or flavor. Ordered the pot beans instead of refried. They were obviously canned. They can't even come up with a creative name for their restaurant. Yeah, its on the beach, I get it. I guess it emphasizes the only good thing about this place: location.

The meat had no flavor. The tacos were completely smothered with salsa that made the tortillas soggy and made them fall apart. Staff is not friendly and the tacos are not worth $.

Came when I was 23 about 5-6 years ago. I love this place. I'm from the Midwest but I'll definitely make a trip back to Cali just for this food.

They say they serve Mexican food that is fake!!! this is the worst Mexican food ever do not go here unless you want some flavorless what tastes to be frozen food. Will never be back. Even taco bell would have been better. Smh

Food was not good, I got the veggie fajitas and they threw every single vegetable that they had in the back of the kitchen on to a grill pan and did not season it. Definitely not coming back for food however there Michaela were very good and the service was good at the bar. Overall 3

Barely passable, bland Mexican food that costs a lot. $13 for a taqueria style burrito with almost no flavor is kind of obscene. They don’t appear to even boil the meat in broth. And there’s no hot sauce on the tables for you to spice it up yourself. They also charge extra for credit cards which is always a good indicator of a place that isn’t customer friendly.

Tacos, burritos, plates, burgers, bbq, fish. Everything. Food is simple and good. Portions are large. Margaritas are strong. Self-seating and there's typically a crowd, so be prepared.

We had the steak salad and it was very good. I also recommed the bean dip and margaritas. If you are in the neighborhood you should stop by.

Wow and "Boom" what a great place for Mexican food in Pacifica, huge plate of fajita's with all the topping you would expect, low key "beach themed" restaurant with a full bar just steps away from Pacifica State Beach, es muy caliente!

We went to this resturaunt feeling very hungry, thinking that we were in the best place to order some Mexican food. Me and my two family members orders beef tacos, because you can’t go wrong with beef tacos. But, the tacos were far to big. It was filled with a shovel load of beef and sauce which made the tortillas very soggy. We tried to pick them up, they then slightly started pulling apart so we had to eat it with a fork. We also ordered a tortilla soup which it was very sloppy nothing but salty watery salsa. Full of avocado and prices of cheese and tortilla chips. These people do not know what a Mexican cuisine is, and are trying to full the public. Never going back there again !

Inspite of being a Mexican Restaurant/Sports Bar....They have the BEST Burger! This is my go-to place when I want a great cheeseburger. My friend had a blended Margarita with Premium liquor, and it came in a jumbo Margarita glass, (with a float of Drambuie on top, I think) for approx $10.00 . The lady at the table behind her kept looking at us. (I thought she knew my friend who lives in Pacifca) but as we started to leave, she told us she was staring because she had "Drink Envy". She too, had ordered a Margarita, but did not specify "blended" so she got a plain Margarita in an ordinary glass served "on the rocks". Judging by her look, she plans to order a blended one next time! And I have NO DOUBT that she will enjoy it!!

Great nachos and mango margaritas. Must try if you're on the coast and want something with flavor

La Playa is the best! My son goes to UT Austin and can't wait to come home and get real Mexican food!

Great service, fun atmosphere good food, what else can you ask for.

Got to go here. Crab Enchiladas, Beef Enchiladas & Pork Tamales. All were fresh and served hot. Very good!

Great hidden spot... Solid Mexican food - definitely try the Fajitas. And there's a great micro sports bar in the back; Warriors, Giants and Niners!

Service was fairly quick, but chips were a bit stale. The food was ok, was not seasoned very much... not anything great, which is unfortunate.

Some of the best food I've had in a long time!! The amount of food they give you is amazing you'll have leftovers for sure! They make great drinks as well, and a fun atmosphere. It couldn't have been any better!

Delicious food and friendly staff. When you arrive you can seat yourself, go to the counter and order. The staff member will give you a table tent with a number and bring your food. The bar is a separate area for beverages. The place hasa rich history rooted into the surfer community.
